I have also viewed Sharon's basting method and tried it out. I think it is brilliant and my basted quilt came out very well. No puckers. Easy on the back. It is the only way that I will baste.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646909042649506101.post-88228004140287338882015-11-02T06:17:52.118-08:002015-11-02T06:17:52.118-08:00Hi Heidi. I finished up Rosette 9 while visiting family and it now looks like that character in the Ice Age movies with the big eyes. I'll be posting a picture when we get back home.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03523153624758462595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646909042649506101.post-85701309591342558572015-10-29T08:59:28.324-07:002015-10-29T08:59:28.324-07:00I think this is my favorite of your rosettes! I have watched those videos and bookmarked them - if I ever try thread basting, this is the method I will use as I have read several bloggers who favor it.

Yes, the sunsets have been awesome lately! We had a bit of rain this morning too, here in Henderson, did you have any?Heidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00546043492549930952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646909042649506101.post-83888920085082900162015-10-29T07:32:43.857-07:002015-10-29T07:32:43.857-07:00It sounds like your to-do list is my lists twin. ...It sounds like your to-do list is my lists twin. Gotta get busy and get that quilt done. I had one knee replacement done and don't want to have another one. :)Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03523153624758462595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646909042649506101.post-85714005764783509612015-10-28T12:24:10.345-07:002015-10-28T12:24:10.345-07:00The pattern is very detailed with lots of pictures...The pattern is very detailed with lots of pictures. I'm old enough that my knees really don't like crawling on the floor to pin baste. The Schamber method means I can baste on my kitchen counter, which is the right height for me. I haven't had any problems with wrinkles on the backing and I enjoy being able to just clip away threads as I quilt. Hope that helps.JoanGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11296109077095410908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646909042649506101.post-48182344662345256092015-10-28T08:39:58.282-07:002015-10-28T08:39:58.282-07:00That sewing machine cover is relly cute, I'm t...That sewing machine cover is relly cute, I'm thinking about making it myself. :-)Marysehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02000465859017119743noreply@blogger.com
